Leadership Team
My name is Shardul Marathe, and I am a Stanford undergraduate studying Computer Science. I am in SENSA because I care about social impact, and building is the most direct way I know to create it. I spent five years teaching Robotics, Kung Fu, and Speech & Debate, and I learned that helping someone improve comes down to specific guidance and a reasonable plan. I build with the same mentality now, most recently CodeEcho, an interview prep tool that gives you the kind of coaching you would otherwise have to know someone to get. As VP of Professional Development, I want to run mentorship programs that put students in front of people who have actually built things, so they leave knowing what they could build for their own community.
I am a psychology major (Class of 2028) with interests in clinical psychology, women’s health, and health equity. I joined SENSA's leadership team as VP of Marketing before stepping into my current role as VP of Internal Communications. My research experience includes work in the Biobehavioral Pediatric Pain Lab, where I study how social and environmental factors affect the experiences of young people living with chronic pain. As part of SENSA’s leadership team, I am passionate about building an inclusive community, supporting meaningful dialogue, and creating opportunities for connection and service. I have enjoyed participating in community-based programs, building community, making sure everyone feels informed and included, and exploring ways to improve healthcare access and outcomes for underserved populations.
Hey everyone! My name is Ishaan, and I am a sophomore planning on majoring in Management Science and Engineering or Computer Science. I have been heavily involved with SENSA this past year as a part of Impact Labs. Working to make a social impact through raising funds for charity and developing a campus engagement app consolidated my passion for entrepreneurship with a social lens, so I'm super hyped to deepen my involvement by bringing new programs and initiatives as your Finance lead this year!
I’m a senior studying Economics at Stanford, and I’m really excited to be joining SENSA as Finance Lead! I’m especially interested in how finance and economics can help mission-driven organizations grow sustainably and create greater impact. Outside of SENSA, I’ve worked in transfer pricing at KPMG and have experience across consulting, financial analysis, fundraising, and nonprofit leadership. On campus, I’m also involved with REM and Company and SupplyHer, where I’ve worked with nonprofits and small businesses on strategy, fundraising, and growth. I’m looking forward to helping SENSA strengthen its financial resources, support teams across the organization, and contribute to new ideas that help expand our impact.
I’m a sophomore studying Design and Management Science & Engineering, with interests at the intersection of business strategy, entrepreneurship, and social impact. At Angel Hive Venture Capital, I support investment research and portfolio operations for companies improving the lives of women and girls. I’m also the founder of MorroWave, a platform connecting nonprofits and small businesses with university students for project-based support across research, marketing, design, and operations. As a Consulting Lead with SENSA, I support social impact organizations while pursuing my broader passion for using business as a tool to help mission-driven organizations grow, operate effectively, and expand their impact.
I’m a sophomore at Stanford University from Scottsdale, Arizona and I’m serving as a Consulting Lead for SENSA. I have had experience as a nonprofit co-founder, passionate peer advocate, national keynote speaker, and creative artist, and have been honored by Forbes 30 Under 30 and The Diana Award. Having worked with the Arizona Board of Education, Board of Charter Schools, and Arizona Arts Commission, I’m especially interested in championing education equality. At Stanford, I serve as Recruitment Director for ASES and Consulting Lead for Stanford Pre-Business Association, and love dancing in the Innovative Styles Dance Group. In my free time, I love to dance, paint, play pickleball, and binge dance-themed TV shows, notably Dance Moms and Dancing with the Stars!
I’m a SymSys major on the AI track with diverse interests spanning consulting, engineering, and social impact. I have experience as an AI strategy consultant at a boutique advisory firm, and I’m a published researcher, having interned at Stanford and UChicago. I formerly served as VP of a fentanyl awareness nonprofit that raised over $10,000 for families in need. On campus, I serve as a director for Stanford Women in Business. Outside of academics, I’m an avid Beli user who loves traveling, hiking, and spending time with friends.
I’m from Cary, North Carolina. I’m interested in the intersection between education and tech, and I’m excited to serve on the Incubator Team to encourage ventures for social good. I’m a rising sophomore studying Electrical Engineering, originally from Cambodia. I’ve always been drawn to entrepreneurship: building things, testing ideas, and figuring out how to turn a problem into something real. That instinct has grown into a deeper passion for using technology for social good, exploring how AI and thoughtful design can genuinely help communities and businesses. I love trying new things, whether that’s new ideas, new places, or new ways of approaching a problem, and I bring that same curiosity to everything I build. Outside of class, I balance long days with hot yoga, spin, and Lagree, and I’m always planning my next trip. I’m excited to bring my entrepreneurial energy and belief in tech for good to the Incubator team this year.
Hello! My name is Siri and I’m excited to help lead Incubator. I love working on creative projects and exploring intersections with social impact, and hope that Incubator can be a space for students to explore their entrepreneurial interests as they intersect with the social causes they’re passionate about! In my free time I love writing, making jewelry, and (trying) to learn guitar. Feel free to reach out with any questions or ideas!
I’m a junior studying MS&E and I’m passionate about building communities to create social good, especially around sustainable food systems and climate as focus areas. My experiences have spanned food and climate policy, working with alternative protein startups, and directing Food4Thought at Stanford, a student-led food systems conference. Originally from Carmel, IN, I’m obsessed with Spotify, foraging, energy drink collections, and trying new vegan food.
I’m passionate about grassroots organizing, social impact, and community-driven change. My work has focused on advocacy, nonprofit leadership, research, and helping young people turn ideas into meaningful action. I’m especially interested in building stronger connections between students and local communities, making social impact work more accessible, and ensuring that projects are shaped by the people they aim to serve. As Grassroots Lead, I hope to expand student engagement, strengthen community partnerships, and help create initiatives that lead to lasting, measurable impact.
Hi my name is Mandy and I am a junior from GA studying economics, data science, and IR. I’m a big believer in grassroots and bottom up approaches when it comes to social impact entrepreneurship. I’ve seen it firsthand creating innovative projects at finance and research firms across E Asia, or working in the US government (at the Treasury and White House), microfinancing in SE Asia, or trekking around the world studying abroad in MENA and Oxford, talking to strangers about how I can help local enterprises and communities. I’ve been involved in the impact startup space ever since I’ve stepped foot in Stanford, having TAed and founded my own. Can’t wait to continue giving back!
I’m Evan, a sophomore studying Econ and International Relations. My passions include building community, making positive impact, and learning as much as I can along the way. I believe SENSA’s potential has no bounds in playing roles as a tight-knit community, a center for social entrepreneurship, and an incubator for Stanford’s, and the world’s, future change makers.
I’m a senior from Cary, North Carolina studying Economics and Political Science. I’m passionate about social entrepreneurship and helping mission-driven organizations grow through strategy, operations, and investing. Over three years with SENSA, I have led strategy work as a Consulting Director and organized speaker events and community programming as VP of Events. I’m excited to explore a new side of SENSA as Storytelling & Incubator Lead. Outside of SENSA, I have written and edited for The Stanford Daily’s Arts & Life section, conducted housing equity research through SHEP, and worked across startups and venture capital. In my free time, I love going to local concerts, thrifting, and making and listening to music. I’m also usually finding an excuse to road trip somewhere new with friends and family.
I’m a rising sophomore at Stanford studying Human Biology on the pre-med track. I’m interested in rethinking how healthcare is delivered, with projects spanning technology, women’s health, and clinical research. At Stanford, I lead eating disorder prevention research and serve as Women’s Road Captain for Stanford Cycling. When I’m not studying or building something, you can usually find me on my bike, in the dining hall, or attempting to bake a cake without a recipe.
I’m a rising sophomore at Stanford University, double majoring in Management Science & Engineering and International Relations. I have been creating things for as long as I can remember, from small entrepreneurial ventures to creative projects of every kind. After watching my mother turn her own cancer experience into a nonprofit that gives back to the community, I realized that entrepreneurship could (and should!) be a force for improving the lives of others. That belief now shapes how I approach my work, from finance to social impact. Outside of academics, I’m an avid figure skater, baker, hiker, and DJ, and I love all things that sparkle!
Hello! My name is Parker Veravanich, and I am a junior studying physical design and manufacturing. I love rapid prototyping and human centered design and am focused on encouraging the members of SENSA to turn their ideas into reality. Outside of school, I love trail running and hiking, as well as playing guitar with my friends.
